Lois S. Verified purchase 10/11/2019 I've suffered with dry, flaking scalp for about a year now (pretty much started when I was pregnant and hadn't gone away). I have used tea tree oil shampoo, dandruff shampoo, coconut oil, you name it. I finally read somewhere that exfoliating the scalp might help, but I was hesitant because years ago, I had a shampoo brush and it was very rigid and the bristles were fine and close together and it made my hair a tangled mess. Anyway, I saw this shampoo brush and it looked a lot more flexible so I thought I'd give it a try and HOLY MOLY my flakes are gone! It's made out of a silicone-type material and the little �bristles" are flexible but still get the job done. I can literally brush my hair with shampoo in and it doesn't get tangled. It's amazing. Not only do I have zero flakes now, I feel like using this does a way better job at working the shampoo in and getting your hair and scalp really clean. I have super thick hair and no matter how much shampoo I use or how long I scrub my hair, I felt like the back, underneath part of my hair would sometimes stay dirty. This brush gets all that. I will also add that if you're dealing with dry scalp (not dandruff) use a shampoo brush, don't go long betweeen shampoos (I had to bump mine up to every other day), take a good quality fish oil, and drink LOTS of water.

Wonderful product! My toddler constantly has an itchy, dry scalp. The teeth of the item allows you to get down to the scalp and give it a good scrub. This has helped clear his dry scalp up. I was amazed! I have noticed that I scrub from front to back instead of in small circular motions because it tends to pull the hair and cause discomfort.

I have psoriasis on my scalp and I have thick medium length hair and bought this to help work in medicated shampoo. It does work nicely and the bristle things are soft but personally I wish they were harder. They are made of a liable rubber that does the job but is also gently enough to use on my kids.

Using this thing has definitely been a game changer for me. I sit down in my shower, apply shampoo to my scalp and use circular motions to massage my scalp and it feels sooooooo gosh darn good! I have 3B hair. The silicone bristles are not too soft and not too hard and the hand grip is perfect. I swear, if someone were to use this and massage my scalp for me, I'd probably pass out.

I was really skeptical of this at first. I'm used to my hair being pulled and tangled when it's wet. and I just cringed at the thought of rubber getting stuck to my hair and doing the same thing... It doesn't tangle my hair at all. I love the ease of use. I love how it really gets down in there. I only use it on days I feel my hair really needs a deep clean, as I notice a difference between how my hair behaves the next morning and if my hair is still pretty clean it can feel TOO clean if I use the brush every day. (I work out every day so I kind of have to wash every day). The only complaint I have with this product is that it's a little pokey and hard. I'm very tender headed and would prefer the nubs to be a little more rounded, but all in all, it's not too painful. I still use it and it feels good as long as i go light. Worth the price.
